He pursued B.Com at Annamalai University and continued his education in different Universities and Institutions and obtained other higher degrees and diplomas. He started his career in SPIC Group Company, then worked as Asst. Professor of Commerce, New College, University of Madras. Later he became the Financial Controller and Company Secretary, Senior General Manager (Corporate Affairs) in a Foundry company of Seshasayee Group and also became the Managing Director of an export-oriented Granite company of the same group. Later, he became the President and Secretary of a very big Composite Textile Mill.
